I will dominate 'credible fighter' Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-bout match which will be shown live on the streaming platform.

British boxer Anthony Joshua said he will "stamp all over" the American and "defeat" the American as the two fighters met personally to build hype for the upcoming bout.

Ex two-time unified heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, theoretically, a huge mismatch - at Miami's Kaseya Center on 19 December.

Fighter's Mentality

"I will damage his features and break his body up. I aim to demonstrate I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35 years old, said.

"I'll stamp all over him. That's how fighters think.

"I intend to really want to injure him. That's my goal."

Civil Exchange

Despite such comments, a calm Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - normally recognized for his dramatics - were respectful and remained civil with each other.

Jake Paul rather attacked former Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and described him as "a joke" after the Cameroonian rejected a match opportunity.

Taking Aim at Tyson Fury

Joshua, at the same time, targeted UK rival Tyson Fury - and declined a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a victory for Paul.

"Jake Paul is better than Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua stated.

"I give him credit for that."

Legitimate Fighter

In spite of stating he plans to punish Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to talk badly about his opponent's fighting skills.

"Jake is a serious fighter," he stated.

Jake Paul's History

Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has mostly fought mixed martial artists or declining opponents since entering professional boxing.

He lost to Briton Fury in last year.

Commercial Attraction

Nevertheless, the novice continues to be one of boxing's greatest commercial attractions, frequently receiving massive paydays.

Forecast and Confidence

The 28-year-old predicted a stoppage in rounds four or five and asserted he would derail the highly-expected Fury-Joshua bout, which is reportedly being planned for two years from now.

"It will be my match with Fury next year," Paul said.

Size Disparity

As Joshua and Paul met for the traditional face-off, with their physical disparity evident, it emphasized just how improbable this whole event is - and how remarkable it is that the fight is truly going ahead.
